My sentiments exactly. It's a complete joke. I don't think people even watch footage of those games or know anything about the players involved. I've seen a lot of film of Wilt Chamberlain (expecting to see the athletic marvel that he is repeatedly touted as) and Bill Russell and I was completely underwhelmed. These guys weren't what everyone thinks they were. Not to be racist, but there are so many white players from antiquity that are in the Hall of Fame right now who probably wouldn't even sniff the hardwood if they played in the modern era. Again, no offense, but you can literally count the number of good white players in the league on one hand, it is highly unlikely that so many of them from 40 and 50 years ago would be vastly superior to the ones playing now. That isn't to say white people can't be good at basketball (because there are definitely good ones), but let's face it; the vast majority of most white players do not excel at the professional level.

Taping up a broken toe?

I hurt my foot pretty badly a month ago, and it healed up except for the middle toe - which is still swollen and tender. So after research, I'm sure it's broken. I bought some adhesive tape you use on gauze and taped the three middle toes to immobilize the middle one. Is that ok? And I bought some ballet flats to wear for a couple weeks. Unfortunately I work heels to work the last two weeks without realizing my toe was probably broken, so I'm sure that set it back.

My puppy no longer goes to the door when she has to go out?

My puppy is almost 6 months old and I got her when she was 2 months. Is Call Of Duty Black Ops worth buying if you HATE multi-player games?

I have all of the Call of Duty games for the PC, but it seems that this new one is pretty much just on the market to compete with other online FPS. And just to say how I do not like multi-player games, all of the HALOs are absolutely horrible. Run and Gun shooters require absolutely no strategic thinking. Unlike in the Call of Duty Franchise on PC if you try to Run and Gun on the campaign modes you will get killed immediately like in real life. And I know I shoot for a living in the Army. Guppies do well with infusoria than brine shrimp in the initial stages of life. prepare another tank with lot of plants in it and set it where there is no contact witht the direct sunlight. Here prepared the infusoria a healthy diet for the fish. Regarding brine shrimp. the information is all available in the internet. Go through youtube.com many videos are available in preparing the brine shrimp. If they are not available at your place fry will do wel with crushed pellets. Furnace problem question...?

Have a Carrier furnace about 10 years old. Started acting goofy a few days ago when we noticed that the house was cooler than it should be. If you turn the thermostat temperature up to activate the heat nothing happens... Go downstairs and flip the power switch for the furnace off then on the blower starts...minute later gas ignites...furnace heats up... flame goes off... blower cools down furnace and it shuts off... but flame never reignites again. And it won`t until I flip the switch again to let it go through that single cycle again. Any educated advice out there would be appreciated...Thanks in advance!

You have clutch drag. There are a number of possible causes for this. As you have had the clutch, m/cyl and s/cyl replaced; I would rule out a hydraulic problem, as long as it has been correctly bled. The release bearing should have been replaced as part of the clutch kit and the withdrawal arm checked. So, that leaves 2 possibilities. The clutch is releasing fine but something is driving the input shaft to the gearbox and the 2 most likely causes are too thick an oil in the gearbox, or the most likely culprit, is a bruised pilot bearing in the centre of the flywheel that is dragging the input shaft around, even though the clutch is released. This can easily happen if the gearbox is hard to put in or the clutch is not properly aligned. Both of these conditions will be worse when cold.

Yesterday, I was harshly criticized by two people. I suffer from PTSD. I was being supervised over a job I was given which I didn't understand and I was told by my supervisor that I was going to not be good at it. I was told by one clmate that she couldn't eat all day after she was told the same thing. I really didn't expect to be scolded by the second person. They acted very hard. My supervisor and the second person's suggestions were contradictory, so that was frustrating. My supervisor will do this little thing again and again, she said. I didn't cry, but I at one point I wanted to die. It was an awful feeling that came over me in less than a second. I don't cry easily, but the pain made me feel hated, loathed. I let them talk all they wanted and I asked for more suggestions, hoping that I could get it. The more they talked the more I noticed they made excuses for their skills or high praised themselves. I'm a very peaceful person, but others are in pain. How can I find peace?

Can you create a setting in an existant town in your story?

Okay, I kinda feel stupid asking this question, which I didn't really know how to ask, but it's been pestering me ever since I started with my story. What I actually want to know is: my story is in a town where I live, but the setting isn't quite right because I'm writing a fantasy. Now I don't want to change the town because I know it well. Now's the question that makes me feel stupid, can I, like, add stuff to the town that isn't there? Like a building of some kind that will work for my story? At the moment I need a secret place for my protagonist and her friends to hide, and it's got to be a big place. And the town the story's based on is small and plain. Can I create such a place for my characters when there isn't such a place in reality? Sorry, this is a very confusing question, but I can't write for a reason when everytime I need a setting for my story it doesn't exist. How can I help my English Mastiff (and myself!)?

I have two 11 month old Mastiffs. One is very small (well, small for the breed) due to being the runt and the other is about 120 pounds. They have received the same training and the same socialization. But, the large one is does NOT like new things or people, she is nervous when new things or people are introduced, she is jumpy sometimes and almost seems afraid of new things and people. If something is unfamiliar to her, she tries to run. This is an issue considering her size. The other one is totally opposite. Not nervous about anything at all. Is this just a personality difference? We need to take them to the vet for thier check-up next month and I am afraid the big one will not allow the vet to touch her. She has to get used to strange people before she will let them even pet her and even then it has to be on her terms. She is and has never acted this way with any of our family or kids. She is GREAT with us. This is just when exposed to the unfamiliar. Help!

Convincing parents for a......?

Okay so, I'm basically in love with ferrets. When I go to the pet store I always play with them and my parents just watch me.. I know a lot about ferrets, how much care they need, they're diet, etc. I've done my research. The only problem between me and ferrets are my parents. They think they smell.. and I don't know really, I guess that's the only issue. Well, they don't think that I'll take care of them. A few years ago, I had parakeets... and well, I didn't really take care of them. And a few months ago I had sugar gliders, I didn't really take care of those either.. So we gave them to this petstore. (It's not the kind of crappy pet store your thinking about, it was a good family owned one, trust me.) They got sold already, so I'm sure they're in good hands.. I just felt like Suggies weren't for me. I'm almost positive Ferrets are though! I went to the petstore today with my mom and dad, and played with one, but It was sleeping. Sometimes, at different pet stores, Ferrets have an odor, but it doesn't really bother me...It bothers my parents.. And it's only that bad because they usually don't bathe them, or take care of them that well. I really want a ferret, and I need some help with convincing them. Car won't start right away?

I have a 2007 Mitsubishi endeavor, when I turn the key it starts but its kind of delayed. The lights and dash lights come on then kind of dim until the car fully starts. It's not a long delay but just a couple seconds. My guess would be it's the battery. Is that right?

My RE had me start 25mg Clomid on day 4 which was May 27th, I went in for an ultrasound on June 3rd and he advised me to come back on June 5th with my Ovidrel shot for another ultrasound, ( This is my second round of clomid since March 23rd 2009, my RE had me on 50mg Clomid but he said that it worked to well. I produced way to many follicles, so he advised me to cut them in half to reduce the affect.) I went in for my ultrasound on June 5th and my RE advised me not to get the Ovidrel shot and to have starting that day every other day for three days so that I would be in the fertile window. He stated that I had four follicles that were great in size and that I could go ahead and try. He then advised me to come back in on June 12th for a follow up appt with him. He didn't say that he was going to do another ultrasound or do bloodwork, he just said to make the appt. Does anyone know what he might have me come in for? Is it possible that he could do labs or an ultrasound to confirm that im pregnant? Im getting so close but yet I feel so far away from the reality of being a mom. If anyone could shed some light on what im in for friday please help! Ive been a mess waiting for this friday appt to come sooner!!!! Please help a wanting mommy to be!! I need help with a angry old horse?

It seems like she's had a bad experience with other animals in the past. She's an old horse and so completely re-teaching manners is near impossible. You can however try and get her to be slightly 'calmer' around animals. You say she has no problem with people, so approach her with an animal in your hand. She might be a little confused but she'll slowly start to understand that animals can be just like people - nothing scary - and nothing threatening! As for your other horse, have them both on a halter and try leading them towards and away from eachother untill eventually they don't take any notice of eachother. Remember this'll take time and patience. Your other horse is now afraid of any other horse it sees. Is there any chance of you putting her in a paddock with another non-agressive horse? He/She'll get used to the idea that not every horse if aggressive and out to get her. I really hope this helps.

I'm guessing you are trying to figure out who to start at the flex position, right? well if this is so I would start tolbert. Indy's run d has looked pretty weak and SDs offense has always been good. I would say it is always best if you can start a RB in the flex instead of a WR even though WRs are still good. I really like Tolbert personally. Girls, how much does clingyness in guys bother you?

Because I'm really clingy, I think it's what always turn girls off me. I'm an average looking guy and lots of girls like me but I'm more sensitive than most guys. NHL shooting and deking help?

For some reason in NHL 11, when I try too roof with the puck from anymore, I get a shitty lackluster shot. Also, I have no idea to do any complicated dekes, such as spin-o-rama, or a deke when I'm a rightie going up the left side of the boards to get past a defenseman closing in the the check.

I failed the 1 hr test big time. My points were like in the 170s instead of 130s. I went back for the 3 hr test, and fasted and everything like I was supposed to.. I didn't get sick for the one hour, and for the 3 hr I just got dizzy during the second hr of the test. But I ended up barely ping the 3 hr test. So if you were just a few points over your one hour test, I think you will ace your three hour test. If you weren't sick for the one hour, you probably won't be sick for the three hour test. The only thing is afterwards, when you go eat you might feel really really tired after that.

Im a normal 15 yr old teenager, i weigh around 140 (pretty skinny but no too much) and about 5"11, i drink a lot of water often and eat my meals regularly. when i watch t.v. i tend to lay down and enjoy the program but when i stand up i have a temporary blindness. As several news sites are reporting, Chris Jericho was involved in a real life altercation after a house show in Victoria, Canada last night.
